"Morning Star" was a nice song - a simple yet romantic tune which was great for making out with your girlfriend ;-). Several years ago I asked the R&R Hall of Fame in Ohio to include Sugar Boy, but they never replied back. I guess his being a local Louisiana star had something to do with that. Wish someone would release the song again nationally. A big named star might get a hit out of it. PS: I  was in George Hillard's class at BRHS. Sugar Boy had a great band, great entertainers, good songs. I think "Morning Star" is one of his very best. I have a 45rpm version of it!
