When did you start coming to Lüke?
A few months ago. Came here with friends. First I thought, “Oh, it’s supposed to be like France, I get it.” But what’s so great about Lüke is that I can feel like I’m somewhere else and then the music comes on and I’m in New Orleans. I bring friends and we have heated arguments about religion and politics. It’s fun!

What do you eat here?
Sundays I have the veal cheeks with noodles. I guess I like it because that’s how I know it’s Sunday.

You travel a lot to France. How does Lüke compare?
Well, there’s this place close to Gare de l’Est in Paris that does a decent charcuterie plate. But then it’s always, “Good, nice, but I should have gone to the Cambodian place, because I can get this in New Orleans!”
