Howlin’ Wolf will host the first annual HAMP—HIV Awareness Music Project—on December 1 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. On World AIDS Day, this benefit will raise money for local HIV agencies and raise awareness about the importance of getting tested for HIV and AIDS. The benefit will feature local acts Trombone Shorty, Kermit Ruffins, Rebirth Brass Band, Soul Rebels, Fleur de Tease Burlesque Revue, Dee-1, 5th Ward Weebie, Wisebird, and L Benz. It will also include a local fashion show, a silent auction and a VIP lounge with catered food, drinks, and acoustic music.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, and VIP tickets are available for $75. Advance tickets can be purchased at TheHowlinWolf.com.
