Susan Cowsill Joins Another Family Band

Susan Cowsill, Freedy Johnston and Jon Dee Graham

Susan Cowsill is well-known as a member of the Cowsills, but she is now also a Hobart. Last year during South by Southwest, Cowsill, Jon Dee Graham and Freedy Johnston got together and started writing songs drawing on the earlier days of their careers, then recorded a CD under the name the Hobart Brothers featuring Lil’ Sis Hobart (the family name coming from the brand of industrial dishwashing machine). The album, At Least We Have Each Other, is finished and here’s a preview, with Johnston making an appeal for funding – the album’s being financed via Kickstarter – and a Cowsill-sung song titled “Baby, Didn’t I Love You.”
