Jimmy Buffett will play an acoustic set to close the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival’s Acura Stage on Thursday, May 3 at 5:40 p.m.

The slot in the schedule opened unexpectedly last week after Eddie Vedder canceled his Jazz Fest appearance and the rest of his tour due to temporary nerve damage to his arm.

Buffet will be joined for his Jazz Fest show by Mac McAnally, who’s played guitar for years in Buffett’s Coral Reefers band, and is an accomplished country artist in his own right.
