Kim Cook Announced as new CEO of Arts Council of New Orleans

Kim Cook was announced yesterday as the new CEO of the Arts Council of New Orleans. Honored by the Kennedy Center and the Clinton White House, she is experienced in both management and theater/dance production, and was previously Associate Director for Nonprofit Finance Fund.

Board Chair Tom Reese made the announcement today stating, “Ms. Cook is passionate about the intersection between culture and community, and cognizant that the arts play an instrumental role in advancing economic, social, and human interests. New Orleans is the quintessential city for culture and creative expression and we are pleased that Kim plans to be actively engaged in advancing goals that serve our artists, arts organizations and the citizens of New Orleans.”
