A pair of TV producers will be holding open casting calls for a new unscripted/reality TV show about Mardi Gras Krewe members told through the voices of the people who live it.

Producers Susie Delava and Johnny Sanchez want the real, behind the scenes story of Mardi Gras Krewes, complete with the trials and tribulations of balancing family and job with the drive to create the best Mardi Gras possible.

The first casting call will be at Chickie-Wah-Wah on Sunday, June 8, from noon to 5 p.m., and there will another open call on Tuesday, June 10, at The Musician’s Union Hall on Esplanade Ave from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Refreshments will be served at both events, and there will be a short on-camera interview for each participant to tell their story.

Members of every Krewe and every experience level are welcome.
