Photos: June Victory Brings Mardi Gras Indian Funk to Ogden After Hours

There was standing room only at Ogden After Hours this past Thursday, October 2, as June Victory performed live with the Bayou Renegades.

June Victory and The Bayou Renegades are committed to delivering some of the meanest Indian Funk New Orleans has to offer.

Not only did June perform two amazing sets, but he opened up to the audience during a live interview, including a question and answer series from the many fans in attendance.

Listening to the interview would bring back memories for any old school New Orleanian, as June reminisced on the various experiences that made him the musician and person he is today.

It was a family affair, as June’s sister, a Mardi Gras Indian Queen, danced throughout the crowd, decked in vibrant yellow feathers, transferring her energy to anyone she passed while June delivered a version of “Hey Pocky Way” that was satisfying to all.

Stay tuned for more from June Victory and The Bayou Renegades, as well as Ogden After Hours.
