6th Annual NOLA On Tap Fest Serves Up Over 300 Beers

The largest free beer fest in the region returns to New Orleans on September 26th, 2015. The 6th Annual NOLA on Tap Festival is set to take place at City Park’s festival grounds from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Sponsored by Sweetwater Brewing and presented by Mid-City pub The Bulldog and the Louisiana SPCA, this “top 10 beer fest” (rated by BeerFest.com) is dog-friendly and raises money to benefit the 33,000 animals cared for by the SPCA each year.

More than 300 locally and nationally brewed beers will be available for purchase, with samples starting at $1.

There will also be plenty of restaurant booths from local eateries (including Bratz Y’all, The Bulldog, Crescent Pie and Sausage, and more), beer-related games and contests, raffles, and more.

This year brings another great music lineup, with Hufeza Art of Music playing from 12:15 – 2:15 p.m., Colin Lake from 2:30 – 3:15 p.m., Cardinal Sons from 3:45 – 5:15 p.m., and finishing up with Honey Island Swamp Band from 6 – 8 p.m.
