Since breaking the news that he’d be releasing an EP produced entirely by Malik Ninety Five with OffBeat.com, Alfred Banks made good on his promise with Mere-Exposure Effect. Released in July, it’s the follow up to the rapper’s 2017 album, The Beautiful.

Fresh from a headlining performance at the 10th anniversary event for the SoundCLASH, Banks delivers the Peter Adler-directed (and animated) video for the EP’s “This Is True.” As he told HipHopDX, where the video premiered, “I really enjoyed writing this song. I wanted to capture the energy of today while keeping my lyrical integrity.”
