Betsy Wolfe will bring her first cabaret to New Orleans in September

“All Bets Are Off” in comedic cabaret performance from Betsy Wolfe

Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre will have a fabulous and comedic performance of All Bets Are Off, as Betsy Wolfe makes her way to the stage with her first cabaret. The lavish and entertaining show will take place on September 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Cabaret has held strong roots in New Orleans culture since the late 1800s. While many other cities have experienced a slow decline in the cabaret and burlesque scenes, New Orleans has continued to keep the spirit and tradition alive and well. When it comes to a twirl of a tassel or vivacious performances, we excel and remain at the forefront of the cabaret movement. It’s easy for the lines between burlesque, boy-lesque, and cabaret to blur.

Critically acclaimed for performances in The Last Five Years and Falsettos, Betsy Wolfe has established herself as one of the musical theatre’s captivating performers with concerts sold-out in Carnegie Hall and in two operas at The Met. And now, Wolfe is doing her first cabaret show which “explores the magical, mystical miracle, and existential anxiety of show business – but funny!” With musical contributions by Stephen Sondheim, Stevie Nicks, and Jason Robert Brown, Betsy Wolfe has a lot to sing about and talk about.

Tickets for the September 14 show are available now and include a $75 VIP experience with the opportunity to meet Wolfe backstage. Regular ticket prices range from $35 – $60. You can purchase your seat by calling the box office at 504-522-9321 or visiting www.lepetittheatre.com.
