Bayou Boogaloo Announces 2015 Music Lineup

The 10th Annual Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo has just announced its 2015 lineup, with headliners Terrance Simien & The Zydeco Experience and Mannie Fresh.

This popular free festival takes place from May 15 to May 17 along the scenic banks of Bayou St. John.

It began as a one-day neighborhood celebration, but attendees this year can expect three jam-packed days of celebration, featuring an art market, a 5k run, a variety of local food options, activities for kids, and three stages of awesome music.

As usual, Bayou Boogaloo is hosted by the MotherShip Foundation, a New Orleans 501c3 non-profit dedicated to promoting arts, culture, and recreation.

Proceeds from the festival will support a new anti-litter campaign as well as the foundation’s ongoing efforts to replace trees lost in Hurricane Katrina, which has to date resulted in the planting of eight live oak trees along Bayou St. John.

Festival attendees can join the Mothership’s Canopy Club with a $250 tax-deductible donation for three days of VIP bonuses, including access to the lounge near the main stage.
