6th Annual BreakFest celebrates the best meal of the day

Enjoy New Orleans food and music, sunny style up at the 6th Annual BreakFest on Sunday, May 5.

Local music, yoga,  brunch, coffee and kombucha are on tap for BreakFest, which aims to celebrate the morning people of the city. Produced by ShowSparker, the festival takes place at Second Line Brewing (433 N Bernadotte St.) in Mid City, where attendees will have the option to try a “beermosa” (it’s exactly what it sounds like). HEY Cafe, Monkey Monkey Coffee and Tea, Big Easy Bucha, Wayfare, The Station Coffee & Bakery, Shake Sugary, Laurel Street Bakery and Louisiana Love It are some of the food vendors who’ll be dishing up breakfast-inspired items.

BreakFest also features musical performances from Andrew Duhon, Mike Dillon, James Singleton, Aurora Nealand, Rory Danger & The Danger Dangers and Katey Red. But to start things off,  Swan River Yoga will host a very special yoga class inside the brewery accompanied by Radio Bird Quartet, a string quartet consisting of members of the LA Philharmonic Orchestra.

BreakFest kicks off at 9 a.m. on May 5. For more information, including tickets, click here.
