House of Blues hosts Eleventh annual New Orleans Burlesque Festival

For two days this September, the House of Blues New Orleans and The Civic Theater are teaming up to present the 11th annual New Orleans Burlesque Festival, where the top striptease dancer will be crowned the “Queen of Burlesque.”

On Friday, Sept. 13, Mondo Burlesque will perform for two shows at House of Blues. Doors open for the early show at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m., and for the late show, doors open at 10:30 p.m. with the show starting at 11 p.m. Tickets are $22 for general admission, $45 for floor seating, $62 for reserved table seating at the front of the stage and $57 for reserved balcony seating.

Then, on Saturday, Sept. 14, talented striptease dancers from around the world will compete during the Burlesque Festival’s main event, at House of Blues, for the title “Queen of Burlesque.” The showcase is accompanied by a live jazz band, and a panel of celebrity judges will select the winner. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts promptly at 9 p.m. Tickets for the event range from $22 to $57.
