Charlie Wooton Will Play For 10 Hours Straight During Po-Boy Fest

Bassist Charlie Wooton is putting his talents to work at Po-Boy Fest on Sunday, October 22. On that date, the neighborhood of Carrollton will use its Oak Street corridor as a venue for one of the city’s beloved food festivals, but there will also be plenty of live music. Running from 10a.m. until 8p.m., the 11th annual festival has yet to announce its full music lineup, but one performance has been confirmed – and it’s going to be one for the books.

Wooton will perform live for 10 hours straight in an effort to raise money for the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic, which has provided medical care to musicians and performing artists for nearly 20 years. His marathon set will take place directly across at Frenchy’s Gallery (8314 Oak Street).
