Calling all visual artists:The Crescent City Blues and BBQ Festival is holding a t-shirt design contest for their upcoming, October event. The winner will snag $320 cash and couple of VIP passes to the October 12-14 festival. Festival organizers are looking a fun, lively, easy to read image that captures the essence of the blues, barbecue and New Orleans.

If you’re interested in competing, visit the Crescent City Blues and BBQ Festival’s t-shirt contest website, which includes a project overview, design specifications, an entry form and a page where you can check out the designs that have already been submitted. The deadline to enter a design into the contest is 11:50p.m. on Saturday, September 1.
