Dinosaur Jr. announced a world tour earlier today, and it looks they’ll be making their way to Tipitina’s in New Orleans on September 14.

Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not

The pioneering alternative rock band will be hitting the road in support of their upcoming album, Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not. Slated for release on August 5, the record will be the band’s first since 2012’s I Bet on Sky. It also follows releases from guitarist and frontman J Mascis (2014’s Tied to a Star) and bassist Lou Barlow (2015’s Brace the Wave).

As of now, the the band has not announced any opening acts for the show, though a few other stops on the tour list opening sets from Steve Gunn and Heron Oblivion.

Tickets for Dinosaur Jr.’s Tipitina’s concert will go on sale June 3 at 10am.
