Tonight, Fats Domino will lead a second line in his honor. The New Orleans legend and his family will be in a golf cart to lead a “Thank You Fats” parade that will leave Washington Artillery Park (on Decatur Street across from Jackson Square) at 5 p.m. It will proceed through the French Quarter and end at the Market Cafe at approximately 5:45, where Domino will sign autographs.

The event is sponsored by the French Market Corporation and WWOZ, whose Piano Night takes place at the House of Blues tonight.
