The entertainment lineup for this year’s Festival International de Louisiane has been announced. The bill for the 27th annual event — set for April 24-28 in downtown Lafayette — includes headliners The Wailers, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, Sergent Garcia, Red Baraat, Fatoumata Diarwara, Oliver Mtukudzi and The Black Spirits.
The Wailers will headline the 2013 edition of Festival International de Louisiane.
The five-day affair will feature six music stages, food court areas, street musicians and animators, arts and crafts boutiques, art galleries, cultural workshops, international cooking demonstrations and a world music store. Admission is free.
Check out the complete lineup, which, in keeping with the fest’s celebration of the cultural heritage of Southern Louisiana, showcases a hybrid of French, African, Caribbean and Hispanic influences.
