You can join a “Thriller” flashmob on Halloween in New Orleans

On October 7, free dance classes for the New Orleans community kicked off at the New Orleans School Of Ballet with a goal in mind: to prepare for Flashmob New Orleans’ Michael Jackson-inspired Halloween mass dance in the style of “Thriller.”

October 31, Halloween Day, Armstrong Park will host the 7th Annual Thriller Halloween Flashmob Experience, which is open to the general public and family friendly. Every Sunday until then (that is, October 14, 21 and 28), the School of Ballet (located Uptown at 717 Adams St.) will continue to provide free classes to those interest in nailing down specific moves. However, classes are not required to join in on the flashmob fun the day of.
