Green and Groovy Vegan Restaurant Seed Re-Opens

Donuts are not the only tasty treat Chris Audler, Stephen Cali, and Aaron Vogel can deliver. The master trio is best known for the creative and delicious assortment of scratch-made donuts, sliders and coffee drinks at District: Donuts, Sliders, Brew. However, they are showcasing an ability to diversify with the highly anticipated re-opening of plant-based restaurant, Seed.

The menu was developed by Chef Audler and new Head Chef at Seed, Dan Causgrove. It will offer an approachable but enticing plant-based dining experience that will be sure to satisfy. With an array of vegan dishes infused with Iconic New Orleans flavors, you absolutely must try one of these innovative dishes. These vegan specialties will include blueberry buckwheat pancakes served with culture whipped butter, carrot cavetelli, masa gnocchi over oat mole with charred corn and butternut squash, a fried kelp po-boy, mushroom gumbo served with fried potato salad and much more. Not to mention, the menu will feature a variety of uniquely crafted cocktails, mocktails and plant-based coffee.

Located in the Lower Garden District, the restaurant cultivates a cozy and comfortable environment with handcrafted pieces commissioned from local artisans such as tables and chairs by Goodwood NOLA, a mural by Sarah Roberts, and living green walls with edible gardens by Instar Farms. With plenty of space from the expanded bar area, this revamped restaurant is ready for an epic comeback. If you are looking for a health-conscious plant-based restaurant with an artful green aesthetic, look no further than Seed. For more information on the re-opening, click here.
