Historic New Orleans Collection Presents Concerts in the Courtyard

With the turning of the seasons, music fills the air. In just a few weeks the Historic New Orleans Collection will host its fifth annual Concerts in the Courtyard series. This monthly, outdoor series will take place on the third Friday of September, October and November.

Concerts in the Courtyard

The Historic New Orleans Collection's Concerts in the Courtyard series begins in September.

Admission is free for Historic New Orleans Collection members and includes three complimentary beverages. Conveniently, the Historic New Orleans Collection offers a wide variety of membership options starting at $35 per year. Keep in mind, Concerts in the Courtyard is a standing-room-only event, and personal chairs as well as outside food and drink are not permitted. Despite the courtyard’s limited capacity, performances are open to the public; however, there is a $10 admission fee for non-members, and attendees must be 21 years old to enter.

Now for the good part… This fall’s concert schedule:
September 21: Paul Soniat and John Rankin
October 19: the Palmetto Bug Stompers
November 16: Janya Morgan and the Sazerac Sunrise Jazz Band

The Historic New Orleans Collection is located at 533 Royal Street. Doors for Concerts in the Courtyard open at 5:30 p.m., and performances begin at 6. For more information, call (504) 523-4662 or visit www.hnoc.org.
