House Of Blues Seeking Performers For Hurricane Harvey Benefit Concert

The Barman’s Fund – an organization made up of New Orleans service industry professionals who donate 100% of tips collected on designated nights and then pool those funds to help support charities – is partnering with the House of Blues and the Houston Food Bank to raise money for victims of Hurricane Harvey. Two more, as-yet unnamed charities will be added to the list of benefactors for the September 17 event.

Event organizers are still looking for local musicians to help make this a memorial event and assist in driving ticket sales, and those interested in participating are urged to contact the venue directly.

There will be two stages (Main Hall & Voodoo Garden at HOB NOLA, 225 Decatur St.), with the possibility of a third acoustic stage in the Foundation Room. Food and drink will be provided for musicians.

Doors will open at 7p.m. Ticket information has yet to be announced.
