Howlin’ Wolf Announces Jazz Fest Tribute to Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson

Members of Snarky Puppy and Lettuce will join forces for Michael Jackson vs. Stevie Wonder, a tribute to two legendary artists.

The Jazz Fest after show will take place at the Howlin’ Wolf on Sunday, May 1, one day after Steve Wonder headlines the main festival at the Fair Grounds Race Course. The band will will feature Nigel Hall, Eric “Benny” Bloom, Cory Henry, Adam Deitch, Adam Smirnoff and Wil Blades. Their performance will be revival of a tribute show that first took place in New York City in 2014, though the lineup will be a little bit different (check out the recap video below).

Additionally, Zigaboo Modeliste Funk Revue will open the night, and Sophistaphunk will play a show in the Howlin’ Wolf Den.
