The Howlin’ Wolf has unveiled initial lineup for its Fest By Nite Jazz Fest after show series.
The lineup includes shows from Anders Osborne, Dumpstaphunk, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Dead Feat (feat. Anders Osborne, Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett ofLittle Feat, Jackie Greene, Brady Blade, and Carl Dufrene), Soulive, Mike Dillon’s Punk Rock Consortium, plenty of top-notch superjams and more.
One of the more interesting offerings on the schedule is a series of tribute shows on Thursday, April 28 that will see Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe perform Prince’s Dirty Mind with Ziek McCarter of Con Brio, while Mike Dillon honors Elliot Smith, The Motet bust out their “Mixtape 1975” show and The Heavy Pets pay tribute to The Beatles.
Tickets for the Fest By Nite series are now on sale, and you can check out the full lineup below. More artists will be added to the bill in the coming months.
