Imagination Movers to Play ChristmasFest Children’s Concert on 12/13

Popular New Orleans-based children’s group The Imagination Movers will perform a special show for NOLA ChristmasFest on December 13 at 12:30 p.m. in Hall B of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Audience members can also buy tickets for exclusive meet-and-greets with the performers that will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.

The Imagination Movers are a group of wildly entertaining musicians and comedians who have enjoyed a lot of success in recent years. They’ve filmed three seasons and sold roughly 250,000 CDs and DVDs of their hit Disney Junior series and won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2009 for outstanding original song in the children’s show/animation category.

“Our goal is to make many kids’ first concert also one of their parents’ most memorable experiences,” Imagination Mover Rich Collins said in a press release. “We hope everyone leaves needing a nap!”

This is only one of the great events taking place at the Convention Center between December 12 and 24.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at christmasinthedistrict.com or at the door.

General admission is $15. Children three and under are free. Tickets for the Imagination Movers are $30 and include NOLA ChristmasFest admission. Exclusive “meet and greet” tickets may be purchased for an additional $50.
