Krewe of tit Rex Parade 2011: Photo Slideshow

In our current March Mardi Gras issue, Cooper O’Bryan writes about some of the new alternative krewes that have popped up on the fringes of Mardi Gras, including Krewe of ‘tit Rex. ‘tit Rex is the first Mardi Gras mini-Krewe—members (in formalwear) pull shoe box-sized floats along the streets of the Bywater. This year’s 3rd annual parade was themed “Too Little, Too Late,” and rolled Saturday, February 26 from Bacchanal to Vaughan’s. All photos were taken by Kim Welsh.
