Lettuce, Greyboy Allstars, The Motet Announce Jazz Fest After Shows

Jazz Fest after show regulars Lettuce, The Greyboy Allstars and The Motet will return to New Orleans for fest season gigs at Tipitina’s.

Funk rock masters Lettuce will take over the iconic music venue on Sunday, April 30, just a few hours after Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Lorde and Pitbull headline the main event over at the Fair Grounds Race Course. Tickets for the show are now on sale.

Colorado’s house funk band, The Motet, will bring their party-inducing sounds to Napoleon and Tchoupitoulas during the wee hours of Saturday, April 29 (technically the early morning hours of Sunday, April 30). Tickets for are available now for the show, which is set to start at 1:30am.

Finally, The Greyboy Allstars, a pioneering jam funk ensemble that features Karl Denson, Robert Walter, Chris Stillwell, Elgin Park and Aaron Redfield, will head to Tipitina’s for a late night show on Saturday, May 6 (technically the early morning hours of Sunday, May 7). The show is slated to begin at 1am, and tickets are currently on sale.

As previously reported, Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty, Maroon 5, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Kings of Leon, Usher & The Roots, Alabama Shakes and hundreds of other artists could be found on the Jazz Fest lineup that was released last week.
