This Best of the Beat nominee has quickly established his musical voice in the local community of artists.
He has shared the stage with some of the most beloved artists in New Orleans, including Little Freddie King, George Porter Jr., Washboard Chaz, and more.
Everlasting Arms acts as a strong follow up to Luke’s Bloodshot Records debut album, The Coming Tide.
The album is like a biography of Luke Winslow-King’s road to the Crescent City and beyond.
There are snapshots of picturesque scenes that detail struggle, risk, misunderstanding, and celebration, all of it cumulatively generating growth and eventually a unique sense of self.
Doors open at 10 p.m. on Friday October 17.
