Martini Week Pits New Orleans Bars Against Each Other in Search of Best Take on a Classic Cocktail

Martini Week is pitting six New Orleans bars against one another in a search for the best new specialty martini in the city.

The Bombay Club, Vessel, Cafe Adelaide, New Orleans Creole Cookery, Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse and Public Belt are each featuring a brand new, hand-crafted martini cocktail from August 29 through September 9. People are encouraged to try all of them and vote for the best martini via a poll on Offbeat.com. The winning cocktail will be showcased at Martini Madness in City Park on Friday, September 16.

Hosted by Friends of City Park, Martini Madness will bring over 25 different specialty martinis and cuisine from 20 New Orleans restaurants at the Arbor Room and Popp Fountain.  The event, which runs from 7pm to 10pm, will include a raffle, photobooth, DJ, and more.

The event is from 8-11pm with an exclusive “Before The Madness” hour that starts at 7 pm. Tickets for the night will cover food and drinks for the duration of the party. All proceeds will benefit the renovation of the City Park Police Building.
