Iconoclastic New Orleans-based jazz-funk sextet fans rejoice: Naughty Professor to record new live album with Chali 2na, more!

Beloved for refusing to make music adhering strictly to any genre-based boundaries, Naughty Professor frequently invites a mélange of guests to record. On Identity, its latest album, the band enlisted the help of local favorites like Ivan Neville and members of the Soul Rebels. Also included are imports from elsewhere, including Los Angeles hip-hop icon and Jurassic 5 member Chali 2na as well as Chicago vocalist Cole DeGenova. Released in June, Identity is now inspiring a two-day live recording event with Naughty Professor and a handful of very special guests.
