Krewe of Orpheus Announces NOLA 300 JAM FEST with Big Freedia And More

On February 12, 2018 (Lundi Gras), Krewe of Orpheus will salute the city’s tricentennial with NOLA 300 JAM FEST, a concert spectacular with a packed lineup. Big Freedia, Trombone Shorty, Irma Thomas, Bonerama, Flowtribe, Deacon John, Al “Carnival Time” Johnson, Amanda Shaw, Dixie Cups, Bruce “Sunpie” Barnes, No Limits and Party Crashers will perform at the bodacious, extravagant and debaucherous party.

NOLA 300 JAM FEST takes place during Krewe of Orpheus’ Orpheuscapade gala, its annual post-parade celebration. Housed in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, NOLA 300 JAM FEST will run from 7 p.m. until 3 a.m. on Mardi Gras morning. Ticket prices range from $179 to $199 and are available at the door or the Krewe of Orpheus website.

As for the Orpheus parade itself, founder Harry Connick, Jr. will reign as Monarch along with Keegan-Michael Key and Jaime Alexander during the Orpheus parade, one of the most memorable for the super-krewe’s 25th anniversary.
