The dog friendly NOLA on Tap Beer Fest raises money for the Louisiana SPCA

Over 400 brews await you at dog-friendly NOLA on Tap Beer Fest

NOLA on Tap Beer Fest is coming back for its 10th annual iteration on Saturday, September 21. All proceeds will go to Louisiana SPCA, who is also putting on the event.

Sponsored by Port Orleans Brewing Co., NOLA on Tap is a dog and family-friendly festival. It will have live music, food vendors, Barktoberfest, games, prizes, and Beer Judge Certification Program awards. Barktoberfest will be an area made to be pooch-friendly, with vendors and giveaways just for your doggo. Located on the City Park Festival Grounds Trail, the beer fest will host more than 400 local, national and home-brewed beers. Previous years have seen attendance records exceeding 25,000 people.

The beer list for 2019 has yet to be published. But, you can figure out what to expect from last year’s lineup, which included breweries such as Abita, NOLA, Dos Equis, Yuengling, and Port Orleans. And, if you brew your own beer, you can sign up for the homebrew competition. All you need is to register three of your beers and bring them to the event on tap.

Pre-sale admission tickets range from $5 for general admission to $25 for a VIP pass. The VIP admission will give you early entry, a koozie and access to the VIP tent. Pre-sale drink ticket passes are either $30 for 35 drink tickets, or $45 for 40 drink tickets and a t-shirt. Drink tickets are required for sample and full-sized beers, wine, soft drinks and water. Pre-sale tickets are available until September 17. Day-of tickets are mostly the same, but $5 more for admission and excludes the $45 drink ticket pass.
