Ozone Songwriter Festival now accepting performer applications

The Ozone Songwriter Festival, which held its inaugural event in Old Mandeville, Louisiana in 2018, will return for its second year this October.

In anticipation of the festival, which gives local, regional and national songwriters the opportunity to perform original material in front of industry leaders and adoring fans, organizers have announced the application process is now open for those who want to perform at the 2019 event.

Applicants must be solo performers or a duo, only. All submitted music must be original and consist of performance-ready songs. No covers are considered. The selection committee strongly prefers the use of acoustic instruments, but no drum kits are allowed. There is a $10 fee to review the application. Applicants whose submissions are accepted will earn a performance slot at the Ozone Songwriter Festival.
