The Swedish heavy metal band Ghost, also known as Ghost B.C., played their second show in New Orleans, at the Civic Theater on October 8th, 2015.
Photographer Brandt Vicknair was at the theater to immortalize the sacrilegious performance.
The show came after the opening of a new chapter for the band, as they introduced a new leader last June in their tradition of dynastic succession. The new Papa Emeritus, the third one, succeeded his older brother of three months last June, after Papa Emeritus II was dethroned for allegedly failing at overthrowing churches and governments.
Papa Emeritus III is leading the rest of the band, composed of masked instrumentalists referred to as “Nameless Ghouls,” through a tour following the release of their third album, Meliora, last August.
