Photos: Music Matters with Paul Stookey, Carolyn Malachi and Jasiri X

Last Friday (May 31), folk legend Paul Stookey (of Peter, Paul and Mary fame) and his legacy initiative, Music2Life hosted a unique musical experience with rising urban alternative stars Carolyn Malachi and Jasiri X, among others. The event, Music Matters, took place at the 26th annual National Conference on Race and Ethnicity as part of an initiative to to challenge young artists to create “music of meaning” and be a part of the “soundtrack for social change.” Enjoy photographer Willow Haley‘s shots from the evening.
