The Prodigy to bring 1st headlining tour in decade to New Orleans

For the first time in 10 years, English electronic music band The Prodigy will embark on its first headlining tour of North America.

The two-time GRAMMY-nominated group will come to New Orleans on May 7 in support of No Tourists. The album, says The Prodigy co-founder Liam Howlett, is “about the want and need to be derailed and not to follow that easy set path. In these times we live in people have become lazier and forgotten how to explore. Too many people are allowing themselves to be force fed, with whatever that may be. No Tourists is about reaching out further to find another alternative route where the danger and excitement may be to feel more alive… not accepting that you can just be a tourist. That’s what the title is about for us.”

In addition to the tour announcement, the band has released a new single, “We Live Forever.”
