Scanlan was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. In March, he underwent a complicated procedure called Whipple Surgery and was in the hospital for one month thereafter. In order to defray his medical expenses, a “Ride for Reggie” is being held in Boca Raton, Florida on Wednesday, June 20 at 7:15 p.m. The event will take place in the Flywheel indoor cycling studio, where attendees will ride bikes for 45 minutes to music that features Scanlan.

A registration fee of $40 is required, with all money going directly to Scanlan. To register, call Natalie Nazzaro at (561) 864-2555, who will collect checks made out directly to Keith Scanlan (Reggie’s legal name).
