Here’s where you can get your Good Friday Fish Fry meals to go

Some local New Orleans restaurants are going curbside to provide the city’s residents with safety-compliant fish fry meals over the Good Friday weekend.

Costera, Galatoire’s, Patois, and Ralph’s on the Park will dish out fish plates with sides on Friday, April 10. Two dollars from every plate’s sale price will benefit the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation’s Pandemic Response Fund.

“We couldn’t think of a better way to help the community, our hospitality workers, and the fishermen who bring this bounty to our tables many who are now facing joblessness,” said Craig Borges. “A portion of the proceeds from each fish-fry will go directly to the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation earmarked specifically for their Hospitality Industry Worker Crisis Grants so they can assist those with the greatest need.”

“We are honored to be part of a fundraising promotion that raises money for industry workers impacted by the pandemic and also helps to keep restaurant workers on the job,” said Jennifer Kelley, Executive Director of Louisiana Hospitality Foundation. “Our community understands and embraces the concept of a Friday Fish Fry, and really seem to be enjoying maintaining the tradition while also helping so many others.”
