This October, The Revivalists will rock Voodoo Fest, one of the few local acts slated to perform during the annual three-day festival. The New Orleans band (who graced the December 2017 cover of OffBeat) will also be releasing a fourth studio album in the Fall and just dropped off the first taste.
“All My Friends” is described as “striking, sharp, and soulful, with swaggering piano and boisterous horns” and “it introduces the band’s next chapter with confidence and charisma.” The forthcoming album will be the first the band releases on Loma Vista Records and also marks the first time The Revivalists recorded and co-wrote with multiple producers and writers. Dave Cobb (Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, GIVERS) and Andrew Dawson (Kanye West, Fun., Sleigh Bells) are two of the names attached to the as-yet untitled project.
