“We’re aliens.”

Today (September 28), Tank and the Bangas released “Spaceships,” the latest single purported to be on their forthcoming major-label debut. Our Best of the Beat award-winning favorites previously released “Smoke.Netflix.Chill” and have now disembarked with “Spaceships.” Ahead of its release, we spoke with the crew at the Aloft Hotel, where they shared us the not-so-breaking news that they are, in fact, aliens.

On October 18, Tank and the Bangas will kick off the Head Banga Tour with Big Freedia and special guests, Naughty Professor. The group’s upcoming Verve album has yet to be given a release date.
