Percussionist Jason Hann, keyboardist/vocalist Kyle Hollingsworth, mandolin player/guitarist/vocalist Michael Kang, guitarist/vocalist Billy Nershi, bassist/vocalist Keith Moseley and drummer Michael Travis are The String Cheese Incident. The band has released 11 albums in its 25-year history, a milestone to be celebrated on a 2019 tour.

Kicking off in January in Jamaica, String Cheese Incident’s 25th Anniversary Tour will make its way to New Orleans in early May for a one-night-stand at the Orpheum (May 2) and a two-night stint at Mardi Gras World (May 3 and 4). Yep. That’s the second weekend of Jazz Fest! For the Mardi Gras World shows, String Cheese Incident will bring along special guests, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.

There will be special ticket combos for the three-night run with general admission and VIP admission options. There will also be General Admission and VIP combo tickets available allowing for entrance to all three shows. However, tickets for the intimate Orpheum Theater show are currently only available with a purchase of a three-night pass ($155-$235).

VIP tickets at Mardi Gras World include One (1) VIP Commemorative The String Cheese Incident Ticket Magnet (only available to VIP purchasers); Express VIP-Only Entrance Lane; Exclusive VIP-Only Balcony Viewing; and a premium VIP-Only “cash” bar. 3-Night Passes include a ticket to each show night and must be picked up at Will Call on day of show.
