Travis “Trumpet Black” Hill‘s body returned to the US last night and his services, to be handled by the Charbonnet Funeral Home, have been announced.

There will be a private viewing on May 21st from 5-7 p.m.

On May 22nd, there will be a public viewing from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Carver Theater, followed by a Muslim janazza from 5-6 p.m. and a musical tribute beginning at 7 p.m.

Viewing begins at 9 a.m. on the 23rd at the Carver, with a public service and second line to follow from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The burial will be private.
