When Jazz Fest is in town, so are hundreds of talented musicians, many of whom are excited to play with one another and to play all over our fine city wherever they get the chance. Trombone Shorty, with his fame and charm, has been able to stack this event with some of the best.

Previous years of the Treme Threauxdown have showcased guest spots from Irma Thomas, Jon Cleary, Kermit Ruffins, The Soul Rebels, Big Freedia, Usher, Dierks Bentley, Chad Smith, Dumpstaphunk, Wycleaf Jean, Amos Lee, Juvenile, Mystikal, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Nick Jonas, Andra Day, Shaggy, Lauren Daigle, Boz Scaggs, Anthony Hamilton, Leon Bridges, Jon Batiste, G Love and Anders Osborne, to name a few.

This year’s first special guest announced is Cuban star Cimafunk but who knows who will be added to the roster!

Make sure you clear your evening of Saturday, April 25 to get yourself to the Saenger Theatre and grab your tickets soon, before they sell out.
