New Orleans superstars to perform concert in support of Gov. Edwards

This Saturday, the State of Louisiana will see a historic run-off gubernatorial election between incumbent Governor John Bel Edwards and his opponent Eddie Rispone. In an effort to raise awareness and encourage residents to vote in support of Edwards, a bevy of local musicians are performing a free show on Friday, November 15.

Ivan Neville and his Dumpstaphunk will be joined by Trombone Shorty, The Soul Rebels, Mannie Fresh, Tank, Shamarr Allen, 5th Ward Weebie, Denisia, N.O.B.A.B.E. as performers. Also in attendance with be New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell and Gov. Edwards.

The “Turn Up, Turn Out” concert takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. at Fulton St. Square. Folks can RSVP for the free event by clicking here or texting TURNOUTNOLA to 33777.
