The 2nd United Bakery Records Revue Is The Meat In Your Jazz Fest Sandwich

united bakery recordsUnited Bakery Records is holding its second annual revue, ironically playing the meat in the Jazz Fest weekend sandwich. The revue is scheduled for Tuesday, May 1 and Wednesday, May 2, with six bands slotted to perform each day. The event’s core concept is the same as last year: The bands will play for a live audience at Marigny Studios (535 Marigny St.), and their sets will be recorded live. One track from each band’s set will then be mixed and mastered for release on a compilation album. Last year’s compilation was released in December and got a glowing write-up from OffBeat’s Bartholomew Singer.

Doors to the revue open at 3 p.m. both days, with music starting at 4 p.m. Tickets are available now for $20 on the United Bakery website. Check out the full lineup below:
