Today, Trombone Shorty released his first proper video, “Do to Me,” from For True. The song features Jeff Beck on guitar (who doesn’t make an appearance in the video), and the video was shot and directed by Brandan “bmike” Odums of 2-Cent TV.

For True recently followed Backatown into Billboard‘s Contemporary Jazz Chart, where it’s number one. Shorty will appear on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series starting on Friday, and he’ll be back in town October 12 when he plays the Harvest the Music concert in Lafayette Square.
