VIDEO: George Porter Jr. and Ivan Neville sit in with Widespread Panic in Mexico

Southern rock jam masters Widespread Panic got some help from George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville and a few other friends during last night’s performance at Panic en La Playa, a four-day destination festival along the beach in Quintana Roo, Mexico.

According to Jambands.com, Porter, guitarist Eric Krasno and saxophonist/flutist Karl Denson joined the band for “Sell Sell” before Neville joined the fray for “Red Hot Mama” and Bill Withers’ “Use Me.” The publication also uncovered a video of the collaboration that you can watch below.

Panic en la Playa will wrap up tonight with a final show from Widespread Panic. Porter and Neville are at the festival as part of the Play All-Stars, a supergroup that also features Krasno, Col. Bruce Hampton, Randall Bramblett, Nikki Glaspie and Jennifer Hartswick.
