WWII Air, Sea & Land Festival Touches Down October 27-29

The National WWII Museum, Commemorative Air Force, and Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation are going to be hosting the 4th Annual WWII Air, Sea, & Land Festival. It will be honoring the legacy of those who bravely fought in World War II as well as highlighting some of the machinery that aided in the Allied Victory on all fronts.

The three-day festival, previously named WWII AirPower Expo, brings new experiences alongside the name change. There will be dockside tours of the Museum’s fully restored PT-305 and an expanded Kids Zone with a challenge course, rock-climbing wall, face-painting, a Hands-on History Experience, and more. There will also be a Victory Warbird Parade, expanded selection of WWII-era military Vehicles, a fashion show, and the Flight Line VIP Chalet which moves to a location directly in the flight line of soaring WWII warbirds.

The event will held on October 27th- 29th at New Orleans Lakefront Airport. There will be plenty of food, drink, and entertainment to go with the celebratory history lesson and is guaranteed fun for the whole family. Tickets are available on the fest’s website for both VIP and General Admission. WWII Veterans get in for free and kids under 12 get in for free on Saturday and Sunday.
