This beloved institution is one of the few New Orleans diners that boasts a maitre d’. The waiters, who have been there for many years, work behind the lunch counter wearing white jackets and bow ties. They are constantly trading jibes with each other and patrons, including The Simpsons creator Matt Groening. The omelets are exceptional. In fact, they are just about the best in the city—fluffy, light and creamy.
